Creases at the border of the cheeks and chin, going from the corner of the mouth down to the jawline, are called marionette lines. These pend to progress over time, and are related to melolabial creases and jowls. Fillers may help lessen the prominence of marionette lines, but surgical facelift is a powerful and lasting method to treat this condition.
