Treatments for the Aging forehead

Multiple treatment options exist for the aging forehead. The key is finding the one that suits your needs. Neuromodulators (like Botox) are great for wrinkles that appear with muscle action. A hyaluronic acid filler is great for deeper wrinkles that are present while at rest. Descent of the soft tissue of the brow is best addressed with some form of a brow lift, which could be endoscopic or hairline lowering in the case of a receding hairline.

treatments for Aging eyes

If eyes are the window to the soul, they need not broadcast tiredness or agedness! Depending on the specific condition and its severity, treatments may include a neuromodulator (like Botox), a chemical peel, or surgery.

Treatments for nose shape

The nose is the centerpiece of the face, and it does change over time.  Whether it’s a hump, a deviation, a curve, a large nose, or any other undesired shape, whether it’s a minor focus or the sum of many problems, undesired nasal features need not be lifelong. Nuances of nasal shape may suggest personality, overshadow other features, and lessen self-confidence

treatments for lips

Adding a controlled volume to the lips may be accomplished with fat transfer, hyaluronic acid filler, or another material. An excessively long upper lip (as measured from the base of the nose down to the red lip) responds well to a “lip lift” procedure. Downturned corners of the mouth, common as they are, may be improved with a small amount of filler material.

treatments for cheek fullness (or lack thereof)

Flat, undefined cheeks may be enhanced with placement of an implant or use of a filler. Overly-full cheeks, on the other extreme, may benefit from removal of the buccal fat pad.

Treatments for the aging face

For cheeks and jawline aging, the most effective treatment is facelift. This procedure is commonly combined with brow lift, neck lift, blepharoplasty, or other related procedures.

treatments for the aging neck

The neck ages in multiple ways, and treatment to address a particular individual is tailored.  Fine and superficial wrinkles may be improved with resurfacing, either with a peel or laser resurfacing. Vertical banding that occurs is effectively treated with a procedure through a small incision under the chin. Excess fat under the chin can also be removed with this approach. Overall skin laxity typically responds best to a lift involving incisions near the ears.

treatments for skin problems

Topical or oral medications, peels or resurfacing, and a sensible skin care routine can dramatically improve the various conditions that plague the skin of the face and neck. Acne, dyschromias, melasma, rosacea, oily or dry skin are some of the more common conditions that respond well to specific regimens.
