head & NECK TUMOR TREATMENT

With fellowship training and extensive experience in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Reconstruction, treating head and neck cancers is one of Dr. Lansford’s passions. Treating head and neck cancers is a multidisciplinary effort, involving the broad expertise of a coherent team including medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and speech and language pathology. The role of the head and neck surgical oncologist is integral to this team, as diagnosis, counseling, possible surgical treatment, and restoration of function with tumor surveillance after treatment.

Aesthetics and aging

Having additional board certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Lansford treats conditions of aesthetics and reconstruction for the face, ears, and neck. While very different in aim, the knowledge from surgical management of cancer adds to the understanding of aesthetic treatments, and vice versa.
